AVRUPA KONSEYİ
Avrupa Konseyi, birçok Avrupa ülkesinden üyesi bulunan uluslararası bir organizasyondur. Merkezi Fransa’nın Strazburg kentindedir. Konsey’in başlıca hedefi, Avrupa vatandaşlarının, insan hakları ve hukukun üstünlüğü gibi değerlere saygı duymalarını sağlamaktır.
Temel hedeflerinden biri Avrupa kültürel kimliği bilincini ve farklı kültürlerden gelen bireyler arasındaki ortak anlayışı geliştirmektir. Avrupa Konseyi, her düzeydeki dil öğrenimini ve kültürler arası deneyimleri desteklemek amacıyla Avrupa Dil Portfolyosu’nu sunmaktadır.

THE COUNCIL OF EUROPE
The Council of Europe is an organization with members from many different countries in Europe. It meets in Strasbourg, France. Its main goal is to make sure all citizens of Europe respect the values of democracy and human rights.
Another one of its main aims is to develop a European cultural identity and understanding among people of different cultures. The Council of Europe is introducing a European Language Portfolio to support language learning and cultural experiences at all levels.

CONSEJO DE EUROPA
El Consejo de Europa es una organización intergubernamental con sede permanente en Estrasburgo (Francia), con más de cuarenta estados miembros.Su primera misión es reforzar la unidad del continente, garantizar la dignidad de los ciudadanos europeos y fomentar el respeto hacia nuestros valores fundamentales de la democracia, los derechos humanos y el estado de derecho.
Uno de sus principales objetivos es fomentar la conciencia de una identidad cultural europea y de desarrollar el entendimiento mutuo entre personas de diferentes culturas. El Consejo de Europa coordina la introducción de un Portafolio Europeo de Lenguas para apoyar y dar reconocimiento al aprendizaje de idiomas y las experiencias interculturales en todos los niveles.
